Return to Crystal Lake

Themed around the Friday the 13^th films, your goal is to put an end to the Crystal Lake curse and rid the surrounding woods of Jason Voorhees.  It’s a very large game with a clever story line, and will take quite some time to complete as there are many room, riddles and puzzles.  Hopefully no boring moments.

It is a graphic / audio filled game, providing visuals and audio for rooms, objects, clues, etc.  It’s a very large game (the .zip is 443MB) and it does load large files as it plays.  Unfortunately, it will only run under Windows (W7 or later.)  I am working to port it to Apple and will certainly make it available if I am successful.  Unfortunately, I don’t have the know-how to port it to any other console.

Be prepared to dedicate a few good hours to solve it.  If you’re looking for a  good text adventure challenge, give this a try.

It was a labor of love and a biproduct of the Covid downtime.  Many hours went into making it.  Although it won’t please everyone, I hope most text-adventure folks will thoroughly dig it.
